Hello everyone,
I'm looking for information, on what would be the best 1/72 scale Voodoo kit, in order to build a CF-101.
According to Belcher Bits Decal BD10 it would be the Revell kit. Problem is I've never seen one anywhere for sale and when I inquire about the kit I only get blank stares back.
1. Is there a 1/72 Revell Voodoo?
2. If yes, can anyone point me in the right direction to finding one?
3. If no, is there an other kit manufacturer out there that makes a 1/72 Voodoo?
Thanks in advance,
Roy

Well, I've got a Revell Voodoo in the stash, IIRC it's a "B" (2 seater). Hasegawa has an RF-101C, also in my stash. Looks like Matchbox (no so good), Hasagawa (old) and Revell (good) may all have 1/72 F-102As in their past.

The good news: Revell's 1/72 F-101B is reckoned to be about the best Voodoo you can get (although Kitty Hawk has just offered a new F-101C in 1/48 that might eventually beget an F-101B).
The bad news: one went recently on eBay for £67 - call it $100 for cash.
The good news: that was the older boxing, 04321. Wonderland Models in Edinburgh is taking pre-orders for what seems to be a new boxing (04854) at about an eighth of that price.

I'd say they were reissuing it. It would be hard to beat what they've already got and I think they've realised there's a market. I'd hang about and not pay silly money for an older boxing on evilbay.
