Good evening to all,
here are some pics of my recently finished Macchi 205. I used the resin cockpit from SBS which is really nice although in the end it wasn't necessary as you can't see it. There were no serious problems during the build. Painting was done with Tamiya acrylics, Flory's wash and a satin varnish. I didn't realize that the decals on the wings were different for the right and left side , so I had to remove the one the right side. That's why there are no ones on the underside. Faller, the distributor for Hasegawa in Germany told me they are out of stock (maybe within 25-27 weeks).
Thanks for looking.
greetings ro

Hi Robert, I really enjoyed looking at your Macchi. It is a unique camoflauge and I have always thought the Italians had some good looking, but overlooked machines. Thanks again for posting. All the best, Russell

Robert, Very nice OOB build. Your camo paint & weathering are really outstanding. The finished look is that of used but not abused aircraft.
