Great Job!

Your painting is superb. Did you brush or airbrush?
I have two of the same kit and waiting to complete some projects on the workbench before I jump into my Mi-24 Hind. Do you or anyone in the forum think, the engine covers can be cut open to expose the engine a bit? The kit comes with the engines and I know would need some work on both of them to make them look good.

What do you guys / gals think?

Thanks
Sam

Sam
It could easily be done. Do you have the Zvezda kit in 1/72 scale? It comes with both engines and all the cowls open and would make a great guide for you to follow

I don't have the 1/72 kit. I have been looking at some photos of open hatches on the Mi-24 Hind. I'm a bit confused as far as what line to cut it on to open.

Can anyone explain what line to cut on to open the hatch?

Any help would be great.

Hi sam thanks for your comments i actualy used my airbrush to paint the camo free hand i had never tryd it before but i think it came out great . As for the engine covers if you do a search for a Hind walk around you should find some good photos of it . If you still have problems PM me you email and ill send you some that i still have from my reasearching stage :-)

Dave;

Thank you so much for the offer. I'm in the research phase right now and found a good PDF file on the Mi-24 hind with plenty of photos.

I just wonder why others have not tried to expose the engines on the Monogram / Revell kit?

Thanks,

Sam
