Tamiya have published on their official website a lot of photos depicting their incoming big scale Corsair, revealing some details of the box content and presenting finished model in different configurations.

Wow nice kit.I really like the bird cage version. It's great to see it coming out in large scale.

I've resisted the move into 1/32 scale even after Tamiya's outrageous P51-D, but I just can't see not buying their Corsair, as it's my all time favorite WW11 aircraft.

Highly recommended, Fighting Units in Color 3 & 4, VF-17 'Jolly Rogers' Early US Navy Corsair units: VF-12 and VF-17 Part 1, VF-17s second tour part 2. AJ Press. Lots of photographs and decals in the three major scales. Should be able to get hold of part 2 but may have problems with part 1.
