rather than hi-jack Nige's build thread again I thought I'd show a couple of pics of my Airfix 1:72nd Typhoon here. After a few issues with the fit of the wings I was quite pleased with the end result, although let down a little by my heavy-handed post-shading. To add a bit of interest I've turned the tail wheel, cut out the elevators, added the connectors to the rockets etc etc. Thanks for looking...

Nicely done. Your post shading looks really quite realistic on my computer screen. It has that used but not abused look, as it should have.

I'm hoping to get a bit more done on mine this week
I like what you've done with the dropped elevators.
The wing fits not as straight forward as it could be but it's an easy fix. We have been spoilt by Tamiya but for those of us who grew up on the original Airfix kits these new ones are a breeze
