I was doing some painting on another kit and while the air brush was dirty I started painting some of the sub-assemblies of this one. For the money this is a great value and it has some nice detail.

some of the instruments are from the decal sheet and some are painted.

the exhaust tubes were assembled painted and glued in place as a sub assembly as it will be hard to do after they are installed.

gorgeous work doug. your IP is impressive. i'm watching both this and your wessex with great interest. secretly hoping you'll do a wasp so i can learn before i attempt one of my own.

A Wasp is on my list for sure, I would love to see a new kit of it but will do the Fugimi kit in the mean time. Wow would that not be great if Revell would do a 1/32nd Wasp

landing gear and tail, I used a bit of brass for the side antennas and the tail skid.

Marinefliegergeschwader special service. Well I made that up but it is based on the paint scheme on the Sea Kings of that unit.
