Hi guys . im looking to get an E-2 in 1/48 scale but im just wondering which is the best to get ? the Italeri kit looks nice but the so does the Kinetic and im sure iv seen an Academy one too .. any suggestions would be great ..

The only ones I'm aware of are Kinetic and Italeri, and they're both the same plastic. Google doesn't appear to have heard of an Academy Hawkeye.
There are two versions; the early one with 4 blade props and the Hawkeye 2000 with 8 blade props.

Hi Dave.
I have the Kinetic one and seeing the pictures of the Italeri one on their webpage I can say that I completely agree with Jessica about being the same plastic.
The only difference is that while Kinetic made two boxes, one for the 4 blades (k48013) and another one for the 8 blades (k48016), Italeri included the two options in the same kit.
About the Acedemy one, I didn't even know that one existed.
Another difference are decals (in the links you can see the different options).
