Saw this photo on another modelling site. Is this one of those one-off getups or has the USN finally decided (realized?) that subdued markings are lame?
I'm sick of grey and slightly different grey...

Nope, the majority of US Navy will be low vis. That is the squadron's CAG bird. the CAG (Commander Air Group)00 and CO (Commanding Officer)01 are the only ones done color/ Hi-vis markings. HTH
