Hello,
Today i started a new build, the Ta 152 from Hobby Boss.
As U can see i gathered a few AM bits, Quickboost correct cowling and hollowed out exhausts and a small PE fret by Eduard for the instrument panel, seat harness and side consoles.
The Hobby Boss kit also provide a small PE fret.
Work starts with the cockpit bits.
First I assembled the PE rudder pedals that are on the HB PE fret.
Then i took the cockpit tub and shaved off the raised details in order to install the Eduard side consoles.
Here are all the cockpit parts layed out:
And cockpit parts installed, minus the PE insrtument panel.
Thats all for now, more later.
Tony

Tony, looks like you're off to a great start. Will be following along through out your build, as I just subscribed to your thread.

Hi Tony,
I started that same kit a few months ago and put it on hold due to the absence of the central cannon ammo tray, very much visible from within the wheel wells.
Since i do not have a good image of that part to risk scratching, i hope you have the better skill and images to tackle this and help me out on the process
Cheers

Tony, Super job on the cockpit. The dry brushing just makes everything pop. The engine plug really has that metal look to it.

Hello,
Another update.
I put the wings together and glued the wings to the fuselage.
On both sides there was a substantial gap between the wings and fuselage. I closed it with Mr surfacer.
Then i added the remaining bits to the fuselage and added part of the landing gear.
She is now ready for painting.
Here some pics:
Thats all for now,
More after some paint is on.

Joel,
I start painting tomorrow, so by the end of next week it should be done.
However, i will try to take some pics from each painting stage.

I wish I could make my interiors just half as clean and sharp as that.
