Nice trip down the memory trail; I especially recall the bright burgundy plastic (same colour as their Me109) and the silly little black Spandaus.
Oh yes, and those Aurora Decals, they must have been half a mm thick!! Thanks for the memories.

I recently picked up a Fokker D8 in Metalic green. I will build it unpainted the pastic is so beautiful.
Oh, and I still have my Dr.I though missing a wheel from that by gone era before paint was invented.
BTW !!!! this model seem to be based on Willian Nye drawings from Model Airplane News in the late 40s? to 60s, as the same discrepancies on the models are found in the drawings, which were by far the best on the subject, in the era the model masters were created (so don't laugh at them for their shapes) the drawings are still available call the editorial office I got several in the 70s, when I worked near them.
