Finishing the camo job on the Snake here then it time for the hangy bits and weathering. A two week extension would not be objected to here. Especially if your Sugury has put you behind. gald to see you able to get back to the bench.

Hi Stug
Great to see you back!
I wouldn't complain about a 2 week extension either!
My Sea Hornet is coming along... but I've had so little time for any modelling lately, it will be touch and go whether I meet the original deadline.
All the best

I started, then put it back in the box and now it's sitting in my closet. A 2 year extension wouldn't help me at this point.

Steve,
I have got basic construction done, need to add flaps and decals and other bits and bobs.
But a 2 week extension would be good.

Hi Stug,
Sorry to hear abt ur surgery; hope u get back on track soon .
As for me, well, a two week extension would be a gift from Heaven. Have been really hard at work on my SHAR(as my pics would show ), but would need some more time(at least a week) to get it into final shape. Am currently in the painting stage, and that itself would take this week.
So yes, I'm all game for a 2 week extension... !
Cheers,
BP.

Well, mine's nearly finished so I STRONGLY OBJECT to ANY extension!
No, an extension would be good, I've really got behind schedule on my sea harrier A couple of weeks would really help

STUG,
Sorry to hear you were down for repairs. WELCOME BACK.
My Sea Apache is progressing well. I waited too long to post my progress, so now my journal is backed up. NEXT time I wont procrastinate. I have applied my base coat, and progressing well.
I've got some US ARMY (DUTY CALLS)stuff to take care of this week, so I would not object to an exstension at all. Whatever suits the majority will suite me.

Hi BP, I'm doing the airfix 1/48 one. It is terrible compared to the Tamiya kit, poorly fitting parts and not so crisply molded. Will you be doing yours as an Indian Navy version?

Hi Martin,
Yep, I'm making an Indian Navy SHAR. I've designed my own decals for that purpose. I'm making IN606 of the #30 White Tigers Sdn, delivered to the Indian Navy in 1984, and which saw service off the INS Viraat.
It's funny that you should mention the Airfix kit as being poor quality compared to the Tamiya one. Everybody I saw at rec.models.scale seemed to single out the Tamiya kit for a beating, while giving the Airfix kit a thumbs-up .
It was smooth sailing so far, but I seem to have busted my canopy somewhat over the weekend. Have some options in mind to get it back on track. You can see the pics of my SHAR in progress either in the RRB, or at my Webshots link in my signature.
All the best !
Cheers,
BP.

Yes a 2 week extension will be welcomed, betwwen the fires, cleaning up, winds and a trip to the east coast. I could use the extra 2 weeks. Though it may not be enough but at least it's a chance to complete this project.

Hi Stug and everybody,
Thanks for the extension. It'll go a long way in improving the looks of my SHAR .
BTW Stug, does this mean that you'll have to change the date on the Campaigns section for the WoW campaign? Or it stays as it is? Just curious as to the admin procedure..
All the best guys! Make the best use of the extra time ...
Cheers,
BP.

Just read the info on the extension.
Personally, I'm keeping to the Dec. 15 date to finish my Viggen- otherwise I'll procrastinate and I'll be up at 3am on Jan. 9 trying to airbrush with the cat looking at me like I'm nuts.......
