The light and shadows on the hornet correspond to the ones on the barge. It could be real. I just can't conceive of a reason to put millions of dollars of grey jet on a barge in a lake. Is the Swiss Air Force service depot that secure?

It was for the Swiss 'Army Days' in 2007. Here's some video which supplies the background. Essentially it was on the barge for public display. Almost as good as a static display at an airshow without nearly as much security concern.

Then again, looking at my Swiss Army knife, perhaps the barge is some apparatus that can be toggled in and out of the landing gear..?
