I am heading off to the IPMS Nats in Loveland Colorado this morning. I'll be online but I may have to wait until I get back to edit the images.

It is Thursday at 7:55pm and the experience is great. Good fellows and the largest offerings of WWI / biplanes & early aviation builds I have ever seen at a Nats. Over 200 images on the show so far. Going out to dinner. Model on!

Greetings all!
Its almost over and its been great. Met upwith old friends and a few new one too. Some that are familiar with us here. I have to say there are many fine builds here. By day 3, I had 374 images. I got to meet some people face to face that I had e-mails with. A couple of childhood friends and I took some interested early aviation modelers out to the VAFM.org (The Lafayette Foundation museum).
Kitmaker owner Jim Starkweather has been here too. It looks like Eduard may not be out of the WWI aviation game for new molds. More later on that. I picked up some W&W lozenge in 1:48 and John of Roll Models gave me some review items.
The competition is tough and the judges were up late working on the categories Friday night. Midway through day 3 there were over 2200 entries and people kept entering right up to the deadline of 6pm. They were adding tables at 4:55pm.
More later Stephen

Comparatively speaking a very successful Nats. There were 2534 entries. Some great builds. The individual Collection of the 21 WWI Nieuports was most impressive.
