Was reading about Lothar Von Richthofen and where he was buried. What happened to the remains buried at Garrison Cemetery in Schweidnitz? I read that it was turned into a park but yet his headstone is still there. I sincerely hope they respected the dead buried there.

Read that too..... but further in the article, it says that
he is buried next to his brother, Manfred, at
Südfriedhof in Wiesbaden.

Could they have moved the remains before the cemetery was
flattened and turned into a football field?

Cheers,
Joe

It's sad that the Von Richtofen brothers (esp.Manfred) had more re interments than Frank Sinatra had comebacks
