Thanks for the informative review, Russ. For such gaping crew compartments Nick screams for detail! I don't know what year Hasegawa released this model but it doesn't look like one of their best efforts. Exterior detail is great but too many of the parts seem simplified, even for 1/72. And I see a sink hole in the wing in photo #36.

Warren, thanks for getting this posted.
Fred, I agree with the simplification of parts. The kit needs a re-tool to update and improve the detail. The old Revell kit included more detailed engines.
