That's as it should be. Nothing ruins an aftermarket wheel for me more than cartoonishly unrealistic bulges. When you look at pictures of the real thing you can notice that if they're bulged at all it's very subtle if you can see anything at all. Much better to sand a nice flat spot into the resin than to try to conduct your very own personal battle of the bulge.

Guess I have to disagree with you, Jessica. Flipping through AJ Presses excellent Monograf Hawker Typhoon, there's obviously weight on them tyres. Mind you, you are right about the sanding. Maybe one could sand enough to eliminate most of that overdone pour stub.
