There was a lovely sight in Ryde a few minutes ago. While most of the crowds were focused on the Bank Holiday vintage motor scooter rally, a few of us were ready and waiting for Catalina G-PBYA on its flight to mark the centenary of Harry Hawker's Circuit of Britain:

Saw this fly over work on Wednesday, lovely sight to see. Actually thought it was to be part of Shoreham airshow, but then found out that thats next weekend.

Very pretty sight indeed. I am thinking of building a Catalina in the same color scheme as this one. I believe the USAAF operated Catalina's out of England in this overall white scheme for Air/Sea rescue. Again, thanks for sharing. Russell
