Im am wanting to start my first aircraft model and was thing about doing the Revell F-84g kit. I have read good things about it and want to do it box stock to get my feet wet. My question is regarding colors used in the wheelwells and interior. I am not that knowledgable about the aircraft. I have read green zinc chromate for the wheelwells and aircraft interior green for cockpit sides. Is that accurate? I have those colors in testors acrylics already. I am not put off by the NMF as i have used metalizers and some alclad on my car and truck builds. Any pointers are appreciated.

I think that Republic used yellow zinc chromate rather than green for their interior paint. The cockpit was black above the side consoles and green below.

UMM, was it interior green below the consoles, or interior yellow?

Yeah i just reread Jessicas response and it isnt too clear. Did you mean yellow zinc chromate for the wheelwells and interior green for the cockpit lowers. Thanls again!

Sorry, the cockpit was interior green FS 34151 below the console level. It's all the other inside bits which were yellow chromate.
