Hey guys, I searched on goggle and a few other sites, but what are some good aftermarket decals? I know of werner's wings, but are they any other companies out there?

There are a lot of really good AM decal companies out there. Do you have any particular helicopters that you want decals for?

Try Flightdecs - they carry all sorts of military aircraft decals. Getting stuff shipped from Canada can take a while but I live in Arizona, and you're a lot closer, so your order would probably come faster.

What scale?
Wolfpack decals has a few in a couple of smaller scales (1/72 & 1/48).
By the way, the USAF versions are MH-60G or HH-60G (depending on the timeframe, same helo, different designation) Pave Hawks, not Black Hawks.

What kit are you using? It should have come with decals for a USAF Pave Hawk.

Unfortunately I don't know of any 1/35 AM Pave Hawk decals. There were a couple sets a few years ago made in a very limited run for USAF Alaska and Davis-Montham AFB, NM SAR birds. I haven't seen them in years though. I used the DM ones on my 1/35 HH-60G from OIF.
Most squadrons don't really have much in the way of specific, colorful markings on them though.

I appreciate the info and help, I want to build a 1/35 scale 60, but right now I'm building revell's new UH34 in 48 scale, but 35 scale is on my list!
I was wondering what are your guys thoughts and opinions on the mini craft UH60 in 48 scale? anyone here every build one?

The MiniCraft/Academy H-60s are very good, probably the best in 1/48th. Good luck with them.
Like I said above, Wolfpack Decals have 1/48th Pave Hawk decals too.

They are awesome. I have used them a couple times and they work great, They are only for US Army Blackhawks though, not USAF Pave Hawks.

yeah I saw that, ohhhhh shucks I'll have to build a few of them! I want to build something in OIF desert scheme colors, and Werner just happens to have a set for the specific color way.
Also am I dumb for asking this, but why doesn't Tamiya have helicopter kits? am I missing something here with this?

If you really want different Pave Hawk decals, you could piece them together using the kit decals and this set from Fierball Modelworks. They are for USAF Huey trainers, but most of the markings are the same. Fireball's decas are excellent as well.

thanks for the help as well, I'm going to be starting my 1/35 pave hawk pretty soon, I might just do it in the three color sky camo, I haven't decided, but I'm excited to jump into "big scale"
Word in the street is, you never go back to 1/48

That sounds great. I'm glad you are excited about it. One question though, what is the "three color sky camo"? I am not tracking on that scheme.

I actually meant the two color sky camo, as my father calls it, it's the dark ghost grey and lighter olive drab green, some of them I have seen have some black in there too, making it three color, but for the most part they are two.
