Accurate Miniatures, now oop, produced many fine aircraft. I propose a campaign including all of their mold, either by AM or the company that bought them. I still see quite a few of them for sale, online. My lhs still has a few in stock. I would want to kick this campaign off, December 2013. I propose to run it, for eight months. Since, that I know of, they only produced 1/72 and 1/48 kits all scales. This is a big step for me, as my credo is "tanks don't fall out of the sky". I'm just getting bored with armor and would like to take a couple of years off by building aircraft. So, any suggestions and questions are appreciated.

Would you accept the AM repops of old Monogram moulds? I know for certain that they did the F-4 Phantoms and the Boeing F4B/Curtiss P-6 double kit.
How about Italeri or Academy reboxings?
I think that the race cars would be slightly off-topic?
New campaigns are already pushing into the April 2014 timeframe so it's likely that this one wouldn't be starting any sooner than that.

So long as the original mold was owned by Accurate Miniatures, it's acceptable. Didn't realize how many air campaigns there are. Well, it gives everyone time to collect their builds. I'll be doing Mustang or Sturmovik

So by that criteria, the 1/72 ex-Monogram kits are not acceptable candidates. What's your policy on started kits? I have a Sturmovik which I've given interior paint and some minor assembly to before I put it back in the box.

So long as you have only completed one step, I'll allow. Trying to keep it fair, for all participants.

Hi Matt
Would you stretch the scope as far as Azur's French Vindicator, which is based on the AM kit?

OK I'm in for this one, not sure which of their kits I'll build but I have a few including the Italeri Avenger repop and Academy B-25G repop.
Question, are we allowed to use AM parts (etch), conversions and decals?

So long as the base kit is an AM or repop, it is allowed.

Damn it, I'm in enough campaigns already! OK, you twisted my arm. I've loved AM kits for years and have a number in the stash, B-25s, TBFs, SBDs, SB2Us, P-51s, etc. I'm sure I'll find something!
