Here are some in-progress snaps of a couple of 1/72 scale models, one is the HobbyBoss 'easy assembly' Bf 109G-6 and the other is the Huma Me 609.

Some pre-shading done on them, mostly confined to the undersurfaces.

The camouflage pattern on both models were airbrushed freehanded.

Decals are on and some of the weathering has been started.

Hi Les

Lovely work, as ever. The '609 is going to be a handsome beast. I'd love to see Huma do it in 1:48.

All the best

Les, they're both really looking quite good. Looking forward to your final pictures. Should really be spectacular.

Thanks Rowan and Joel!

The Huma Me 609 is expected to be a little trouble for me in getting the landing gear set correctly, my example had poorly molded gear legs that needed some reworking.

I would be happy if Revell of Germany or even Eduard were to produce a kit of the Me 609 in 1/48 scale...that would be great news if it were to ever happen.

Thanks once again Russell!

Just a short time ago I did some weathering to the drop tank for the 109 and airbrushed the exhaust stains on both Messerschmitt's.

Busy time for my modeling and its tough to get anything finished...besides the Messerschmitt's I have a movie monster Mummy, B&V P.194, Arado Ar234P, and 1/32 scale He 162 in-progress. Pics of the other builds will be posted if anybody has an interest in them.

Russell,
Yep, that's the one!

I will start a build thread for my B&V P.194 soon even though not a whole lot has been done on it yet.
