Hello again,

The Hellcat is done! Only 5 years in the making The Eduard kit is great, highly recommend it. The decals seem a bit thick in places, but I can live with it. Thanks for all the positive feedback on this thread, it's been great motivation to get it finished. But I suppose the real motivation was my Dad, who introduced me to modelling as a child. Sadly, he passed away two years ago so I would like to dedicate this build to him. This one's for you Dad, Thanks

Michael,
Congratulations on a exceptionally well built F6F-5 Hellcat. Your painting, decaling, and weathering all add up to one nearly perfect build. And only 5 years in the making. Nothing like taking your time to get it right, & right you did.

And then the final step of the dedication to your Dad. It just doesn't get any better then that.
