Hi there panzerschrek

Are Jo-han still in production? I haven't heard of them for years...

Maybe the kit is really old stock - hence the Swastika on the box-top.

All the best

Swatstikas are still shown on some box art.. I have two recent Revell kits that have them shown on the plane.. But in some countries the swatstika is banned, so most Asian companies don't have it on their art.. Trying to be PC, I guess.....

I never did understand the thinking behind the removal of the swastika from box art, and in some cases from the decal sheet. They were on the aircraft in the kit, they were on the nazi flags, history cannot be rewritten just to be PC.

I agree with brandydog. History is history.
I don't mind swastikas not being shown on the box art, but I do mind when they are missing from the decal sheet.
I don't think anyone became a nazi because they liked the logo.
Ah well it's a mad, mad world.
Brandydog, I'm also from t'north of England. I'm a pie eater...from Wigan.
