I am planning to build a Trumpeter MIG-21F-13 for the Trumpeter Campaign and need some good photo references of Bare Metal examples.

Any suggestions, either On-Line or in Print ?

Thanks

Google image search is your friend
Most MiG 21s weathered pretty badly so you don't need to worry about making them look shiny. The more beaten up the better.

I see some interesting shots that will be of use, Thanks.

Of note though are the images of the models and how few of them capture the different panel colouration that is so obvious on the bare metal prototype.

Anyone got any good suggestions for print ?

There is a book in the 4+ series dedicated to the MiG-21F series... Can be found here:

http://www.4pluspublications.com/en/publications/titles-4

Finding them for sale in the US can be problematic as the old stand-by source was 4+ USA, but sadly he has retired.

Hannants does have 2 in stock, and they're always reliable:

Maybe a little more digging will turn up other sources. It's a GREAT publication!
