Here is my other new build, the 1/72 scale HobbyBoss 'Easy Assembly' Bf 109G-6.
After building a couple other of these HobbyBoss Easy Assembly kits I expected this one to be built and ready for paint in just a couple hours but that was not the case, a number of parts needed to be trimmed or carved down in order to fit correctly and also some putty and sanding was needed too.
I built this model SFTB and the only thing I changed was the markings which came from my spares box, this model is marked as the Bf 109G-6 flown by Major Franzisket in 1944.
The model was painted with Model Master enamels, after the painting and markings were on I did some weathering by spraying on some tinted thinner to give it a slightly sun faded dusty look and can be seen more on the rear of the model.
The oil leaks under the engine cowl were done with oil paints and when dry it was followed by some brushed on Future to give the oil streaks a wet look to them.
