I am building a F-86D for a friend worked on them in the 50s. He was with the 15th FIS. looking for the font type for the lettering of the aircraft serial number on the side of the plane and Hi-Res picture of the squadron patch for the tail. could only find low res on the net, thanks in advance

Google "Amarillo Font" and you'll find plenty of free (legal) downloads. Install the fonts on your computer and you could print your own buzz numbers and such.

Re the tail badge, you can save this:



You can adjust the size and resolution in Photoshop. When you're done, print it on white decal paper.
