I love this kit. I built one a few years ago. It is a gem.

Nice job on this one, BTW. I see you added the engine exhaust collector ring. Looks good.

Too bad Lindberg hasn't re-released it in a while. It is an important subject in the history of naval aviation. I believe it was the first aircraft specifically built for aircraft carriers. It's specs are very impressive.

Very nicely done model.

The molds started out as a Merit (I think) the spelling is correct) kit in the late fifties the same model are part pf the Lindberg line now part of Round 2 company.

The Flycatcher was a very early RAF/Royal Navy aircraft (early 1920s), that flew off the HMS Argus. Notice that it doesn't have an arrester hook. Evidently it landed so slow that it almost match the carriers speed (plus the wind over the deck) and was landed then stopped by deck crew catching hold of it. There are some photos on the WEB.
