The Harvard's cockpit was furnished with British instruments, throttle handles and spade grips, and of course painted in R(C)AF interior green. Externally, the rear canopy had a
curved lower line as compared to the more
triangular shape of the Texan. Canadian Harvards had an
extended exhaust pipe to house the cockpit heater and very frequently the main strut doors were omitted. The antenna fit could also be different, especially on postwar Harvards.
