I have an Aztec airbrush and am looking for a compressor - for less than $100. Question - what are the advantages/disadvantages of the tank or tankless models. Thanks

With a tank the compressor doesn't have to run continuously. Also the air stream doesn't pulsate.

If you live near a Harbor Freight Tools, get one from there. They have the cheapest prices. I picked up an tankless one and I paid around $60 for it. The exact same model is sold by other companies for almost twice as much.

Jessica is right. I have both, and far and away prefer the tanked Hausfeld. Mine is only 3gals., and has an inline water trap. The whole show cost less than $60.00 on sale at a hardware superstore.

100%.....compressor w/ tank.
The price and noise level varies, pick one that suits
your budget.
In my opinion, the airbrush and compressor are the most
important tools.
I went for tops in AB and a silent compressor....lots
of dollars but I thought in long term investment and
performance and durability.
Cheers,
Joe
