I'm researching before I build the Academy 1/35th MH-60K as a 160th SOAR Nightstalkers bird. Here is my Question: Are 160th SOAR helos (MH/AH-6's and MH-60's) painted black or still Helo Drab with OD markings? I can seem to only find photos of Helo Drab, but have been told they are black as well.

I had four of their birds at my airfield last month, two Little Birds and two Blackhawks. They were painted flat black and the "UNITED STATES ARMY" markings were in green. They let us get close, but no touching or photographing. Blackhawks were MH-60K and the Little Birds were AH-6s.

160th,
Thats affirmative, all 160th ships are lusterless black with modified OD mkg's.
But the mkgs are not FS # 34087 OD. It's closer to FS# 34201

I just stated that the markings were green. Not OD by any means, but more like sage green or heavily faded forest green, but they were green by all means. The helicopters were flat black, I was close enough to spit on them.
