Thank you so much Joel for being the only one that is providing feedback, it means a lot to me.
The article found at this link addresses myths about the 109 by using hard data and testimonies of men that actually have flown it, it is a good, interesting read: http://www.virtualpilots.fi/feature/articles/109myths/

Florin,
Thanks for the link. I just too a fast look, and it's really a long article, so I'll read it over the next few days as time permits.

I certainly do, the Gustav and Kurfurst are my favorite series of the 109. You are doing a thorough job of virtually rebuilding this kit. Keep the photos coming

Mine was stalled after a parts are glued together

Thank you for the kind words.
I had all of them in 1:24th, the Emil from Airfix, and Trumpeter the G-2, G-6 early, G-6 late, G-10, and K-4. But then Cyberhobby released its E-4 and Revell announced its G-6 in 1:32nd so I got rid of them, except for this one. Converted to the smaller scale, less work and more details.
Have to admit, this G-2 is special to me and it requires a special mood, so the progress is slow.

....sounds like mine ! It took some time to accept, that
an all open 109 took a lot of extra work.
Now i will complete her closed up, the newest progress was to
cut the plastic out of the head armor, the bullet proofed glass
is still to do, the decal sheet printed by Aeromaster looks nice
but there is a lot of misspelling on the stencils, look like me

Good luck, great start !

Florin,
From the point of view of a 1/48 scale guy, 1/32 scale is quite large, but from your point of view it's a step down to a smaller scale. Never thought of it that way before.
Just continue to work at your own pace. The results have been stellar to say the least. Since I'm 99% a USA aircraft builder, I get lost quite easily in the nuances between the 109 variants. What I really appreciate is your skills in duplicating them to the degree that you have.

High praise from such a skilled modeller, thank you!
Off topic - stay tuned because there is an old Revell P-47 Razorback (it will be a C) and a Hasegawa F6F Hellcat, both in 1:32, waiting in the stash for the P-51B to be finished.

Florin,
I'll be following those builds for sure. The P-47C should be amazing.

Hi Florin waiting for your 1/32 builds too ! The result of our
"talk" from yesterday is, the basic airframe of my 1/24 G-6 is taped together.
All the Best

It needs more work than the G-2, especially if you want it opened up, but the basic things are there. It will look impressive when finished, I'm sure!

Yes it will, but with my usual behavior, to keep it more simple.
Keep up your good work, Florin.

Because of too many big, bad issues such as fuselage cross-section inaccuracies, spinner of wrong shape and size, vertical tail that needs to be entirely redone, this project has received an extremely low priority. The likelihood of it being completed is very remote indeed. I'm sorry, but it is much less time consuming to backdate the splendid 1:32nd Revell Bf109G-6 into black 13, the G-2 bearing the markings of Günther Rall. The alternative would be to entirely rebuild the fuselage, an enterprise that defeats the purpose of this trumpeter kit. Consider this topic closed.
