I've heard just a littlle of this model. It's a re-release of a mould from way back with a feo updates. The cargo area is bare bones, but as for the over all quality of the airframe and cockpit, not much is said. Is anyone familiar with this model? Does it look right? Would it be a good base for a USAF pave low?

Yes, I have the model, and a pave low has been made out of the previous releases so I guess that it would be possibel with this version as well.
But do prepare for searching some hard to come by aftermarkety pieces and some research to find which bits and pieces you need for a pave hawk.

Cobra Company has all the resin sets you need to build an MH-53J Pave Low III from the above kit.
