Just found these , highlights & link.
Found the thread at Armorama but there's a lot of stuff that might interest Aeroscaler's.
So I added the link & highlights.

I like the Hobby Boss Corsair announcement, and the Intruders. Are the P-40s "new" new or carryovers from previous years?

Some exciting stuff there! Funny - I was just looking at the Trumpeter website this morning for any word on the 1:48 Whirlwind that's been mentioned elsewhere in the Forum, but couldn't see a thing. It seems like all the various ways of spreading the word are quite "joined up" yet in this digital instant access age...
All the best

Well, I'd seen the post at Armorama but since it's almost Aircraft & Helis I decided to put the links & highlights for Aeroscalers.
Some very interesting stuff in 1:48, quite curious on the 1:18 Harriers too, oh and the Bae Hawks

The Whirlwind is slated for a May release in North America. Interesting looking aircraft, as is the Sea Hornets!

Hi Scott
If they do a good job on the Whirlwind and Hornet/Sea Hornet I'll be jumping for joy because they are both favourites of mine! After their Spiteful and Vampire though, a part of me is dreading to see what turns up...
Fingers firmly crossed!

With the Hornet they probably will open a hornets nest:)
Read some discussions on another forum about a possible 1/32 kit There seem to be some indications, that even the existing drawings are not correct compared with some at that time unknown factory drawings. And the CA kit got some small things a bit wrong, too.
I didn't dare to start the Spiteful yet, because I have no idea how to fix it
But I really hope for a good Whirlwind
Greetings from Shanghai

Being a Corsair nut, the Hobby Boss releases in 1/48 scale hopefully will be major improvements over many of the already done versions besides the Tamiya Trio.
One thing for sure, 2014 is looking like a banner year.

Cool, I'll be waiting for the Whirlwind, Super Tucano and the Ka-27 Helix, it's about time one of the Kamov utility whirlybirds got kitted in 1/48. I'll also keep my eye on the Sea Hornet although I do have a CA one in the stash.

The Whirlwind has always been one of my favourite aircrafts, so I hope the kit turns out ok.
Otherwise, what I liked the most was the 1/16 M-ATV and MaxxPro, but the again, they don't have wings!
