Does anyone in the world know if there was ever a B-36 Peacemaker manufactured in 1:48 scale? What to do? I can not display a B-36 1:72 scale with my 1:48's. How about a B-52 is there a 1:48 kit of This bomber?
Thanks
Robert

From a 2005 thread on the Finescale forum:
OK, get ready for this, B-36 fans:
On the back cover of this month's Koku-Fan magazine, there's an ad from a company called Wing Club for a 1/48 (I repeat: ONE FORTY-EIGHT) B-36!!
NOT 1/72...NOT 1/144...1/48!!!
1/48 scale!!
The wingspan is listed as 140cm, which is...about 54.7 inches. Thats over 4 1/2 feet!
It's a completed model, not a kit. Not sure what's it made of.
No price listed, either. The ad says "call for pricing." I oughta give 'em a ring!
If your really serious you might be able to locate one and pay big bucks for it.
Cheers,
C.

HpH did a resin B-36 which was very expensive. It doesn't seem to be in their current catalogue. Sanger Models has been promising a 1/48 vac B-52 "after the Sunderland" for years now. Will we ever see it produced?
