I built this kit as part of a "Heavies" group build over on ARC about seven years ago. It gave me the chance to build a model of the aircraft I saw flying over my head almost daily when I was stationed in Iwakuni Japan in 2001. My model was built to represent the same aircraft thats on display on the Japanese side of the base.
There really isnt anything special as far the build of the model goes. I used Mr. Surfacer for the first time fairing the cockpit glass and I used some copper wire for the antennas. Paint wise its all rattle can and some Tamiya acrylic. Decals came from the kit, just modified to give me the numbers I needed.
