Does anyone have any pictures or information on the markings of Privateers based out of Corpus Cristi late '40s, early '50s timeframe?

Hi Steven
There used to be a website devoted to the Privateer, but I can't find it now. I don't know it would have helped with your question, but I was relying on it still being there if I ever get round to tackling Koster's 1:48 conversion...
All the best
