Hi guys,

I'm looking for kits of these birds, so far no luck..

McDonnell FH-1 Phantom

North American FJ-1 Fury

North American FJ-2/-3 Fury

Any brand, 1:72 or 1:48.
I searched several brand catalogues but no luck.

Thanks for the help !!!

That was done by MPM in one of their earliest short-run injection kits. It was rough, but buildable. Collect Aire did it in 1/48. Both are out of production. Scalemates says there were kits from Griffin, Siga, Airmodel and Classic Plane as well.

Siga and Pegasus did this one. Valom will release one in the future. Scalemates says that there were also kits by Rareplanes and Merlin in 1/72, and Collect Aire and Czech Model did it in 1/48

Nobody's done a kit of the FJ-2. Here's a set of conversion instructions. They're for the -2 prototype; if you want an operational -2, you'll need to add in the gun ports and folding wings. Esci released what they claimed was an FJ-3 back in the '80s, but it was really an F-86F dressed in Naval colours with some minor changes.
Scalemates lists a 1/48 Collect Aire FJ-3, and one in 1/72 from RVHP.

You'll likely need to look for these kits on Evil-bay or at swap meets.
