Hi all,
as last year my friend Volker is present at the Toy Fair from day one so I can post some pix and stuff from that show. At the moment my list is very basic but it should get more comprehensive over the coming days ... for sure it will never be complete so just take it as a teaser for things to come (one day).
So here is the list: Nuremberg 2014
A first batch of some 200 pix: Pictures Volker Helms
I will drive down to Nuremberg on friday so there is a chance to ask one or another question and I will try to find out.
For now have fun watching .. asking yourself why Italeri chose a Tiffy and not a Tempest or why ther is still no Fairly Fruitbat Mk.VI 1/2 c in 1/65 scale.
Feel free to comment
all the best
Steffen
P.S. there are probably some more pix on primeportal already

Hi Steffen and Rowan,
Sadly the He 115 is on hold currently. I had to make some room for Zvezda's Su-2 for a build article. The later is almost finished...
It seems as if MPM has no Finished He 115 on display in Nürnberg The model is not bad at all but the struts for the floats are a real nightmare to put in place! Otherwise the model would have been finished for sure...
When it will be ready, I'll do an article for Aeroscale, promised.

Nice one Jean-Luc!
Don't talk about struts on the He 115 - I was only looking at my ill-fated Latécoère 298 the other day! Perhaps thankfully, the parts I still need to add to it have got lost in the process of moving my workshop from room to room, so I doubt I'll ever do battle with it again!
All the best

No worries Steffen, you know that French people are always complaining...
In fact I didn't noticed myself but someone else did. I have put a link to your page in Master194, a french forum. I suppose you don't mind some more traffic for your website...

Hi again Rowan,
I will talk about the He 115 struts with the MPM people in Nürnberg. Knowing Jan Hajicek a little now, I'm sure he will lough out loud...

Wow.
I checked Wikipedia and photo 76 and 77 is of the Gloster prototype monoplane F5/34.
I never thought this aircraft would be kitted. I think only two were made before Gloster moved on to work on the Meteor.
Wow, again.

Nice one Steffen
This is what I have been waiting for:
It is great to see a test shot as I thought that this had been forgotten about; I hope that it is out early this year And then I take a closer look and see that its due in April, I hope that it isn't late

Steffen, thanks for this update, and the continued toy fair updates. I was more then just delighted to see that Revell once again will be re-issuing their re-box of their 1/48 scale PBY-5A. This time around I'll make sure I don't procrastinate and miss buying at least one.

Thank you guys!
today was rather disappointing. I had a very hard (and looooong) day at work and when I came hom there was "nothing" in my inbox. When I phoned our guys there if everything was o.k. I just was informed that they were not in the mood to send the stuff
Well, at least Volker updated the list with some new stuff ... the Kamov is something I would like to try. So here is the list again: Nuremberg 2014 and there are 3 pix of MarkI forthcoming 1/144 scale Heinkel He 219:
tomorrow will be better (I hope)
all the best

Hi Stefen!
Very kind of you to keep us, poor folks, updated with all those new goodies. I can see that Jean-Luc is already in the starting blocks for the Fokker, he is not to blame for sure. Looking at your pics, it makes me wonder if the customer is heard in the producers spheres. Thanks again and take good care, regards, Jean.

Thank you Jean!
Well it depends. The larger companies just do what they want or think will earn some money. The smaller ones are a bit more approachable... but in the end keep doing "their stuff". BTW I do not know if the chinese guys want to listen to anyone.
OTOH "many" of the top customer wishlist kits ended up being shelfsitters, just to name Revells Do 217 or Ju 52 (of course this is a matter of perspective, I have several of both)
cheers

Thanks Warren, I will do!
J.-L. DEBROUX was so kind to compile some Trumpeter aircraft releases from an online view of the catalogue. Many thanks for that!
Still it took me a while to put it in HTML format, but this way the list got a little longer in the aircraft section
all the best

The 1:48 US fuel bowser looks a winner. It's great to see Tamiya have finally listened - it's only what aircraft modellers have been crying out for since the series began! Hopefully, they'll have alternative heads or headgear - the driver looks a bit daft in a steel helmet... Equally hopefully, let it be just the first of a full series of new-tool 1:48 airfield vehicles.
I'm a bit mystified by the Sopwith Camel with the "banana" top wing. Please investigate for us - even though it's not your scale.
Have fun - and all the best
