I would like to build a Fokker Triplane. I am an experienced modeler (50+ yrs), just not so much with aircraft. I'm looking for a plastic model of moderate to high skill level, good detail, reasonable price, and preferably in 1/48 scale. Any suggestions?

I have not built an Eduard Triplane, but I have built several of their kits, and I recommend them highly.

Their 1/48 scale Triplane is still available.

Good choice for a subject.

Greetings Biggles2,
Today there are several choices. In 1:72 & 1:48 Eduard have very acceptable choices. In 1:32 Roden has a buildable version. Check out the reviews we have here at Aeroscale. In larger scales there is the Model Expo version. (One is under construction in this forum at this time.)

Here is a build review comparing the Eduard 1:48 kit to the old DML / Dragon kit.
