building an S 58 T using the Revell Wessex and the Cobra nose section, I am doing a heavy lift logging helo, with the aft fairings off of the fuselage, it is kinda like the old hot rods that guys would just remove any thing that was not needed to save weight and ease access to the mechanics of the car. These helicopters also have unneeded parts removed and it makes them kinda cool and basic looking.

That's in 1/48, right? I tried something similar in 1/72, but even in the larger scale, your work is fantastic. Very cool. I'll be watching this one.

Doug,
From a modelers perspective, not as a 'copter junkie, because I know next to nothing about them, I'll be following your build.
Your overall detailing looks extremely well done. The interior went from bare to busy, and same for the transmission area. Even the front nose section has received hinges and assorted hardware.
Looking forward to your next update.

Doug,
Was wondering where this build went to? Glad it's back on the bench. The cockpit with the PE really looks good. And the AM replacement gear legs really looks quite detailed from what I can see.
