Anyone have any experience with this kit.
Is it as bad as their Martin M-130 China Clipper?
Just about finished with the Clipper. Getting ready to put a coat of Future and decals. A beautiful plane but a real booger to put together.
The SM-55 is another of those cool looking planes but I'm guessing it's a doggie kit.

Apparently it's based on the old ITC mould with the engraved decal locations removed. From the little I've found on the interwebs, it's basic, but buildable. If you've fought the China Clipper to submission you'll be able to do this one
Here's a look inside the box.

Thanks Jessica,
Not a great kit but considering it's age an interesting subject.
I think floatplanes have unusual lines that make them look graceful even when they really aren't.
Since the other Delta kit is very hard to find, I guess I'll give this Glencoe kit a try.
Again, thanks for the link to the pics.
Best regards,
Gary
