I dropped by here today after a long absence and they have made a lot of progress on the Bleriot 11 and the other projects that they have underway.I plan to go back this week and take lots of up to date pics and post them here.In the meantime here are a few of the older ones.
I only learned today that the Military Bleriot that resided there for some time crashed last summer. The pilot was not hurt but the airplane is badly damaged.I haven't yet talked with the owner to see if he plans to re-build it.They were doing the first test flight and the pilot was told to just do a small circuit and back down again.Error #1 the first test flight should be to get the wheels off the ground and then touch down again.Error #2 never do any test flying in windy and gusty conditions.Error #3 don't even do a high speed run in a crosswind.I could go on and on...
but you guys get the picture.I feel so bad for the owner as he spend years and years on this project but at least he knows it really did fly !
There is a video on YouTube just look for Bleriot crash,it is at the top of the page.

Outstanding dioramas! The H-2L taking off is impressive. (but I am bias toward early Curtiss boats)
You are really good in conveying an emotional atmosphere in a small space. I can almost hear a loon call.
Thank you for showing these.

Most of these pics were taken with the models under plexiglass,so the quality is the best I can do under the circumstances.
