I'm building Roden 1/32 DR.I (Ernst Udet mount) with Eduard PE update and got to wondering whether I can further spruce up the interior with internally stored flares rack and a flair pistol (from my many a WnW spares)... to add some flair

So I've read of internally stored flare racks on aircraft and saw photographs of flare pistols stored in anything from holes in fuselage to outside cups, but I've haven't had a chance to see one of an internal flare rack...

Where would you but a flare gun / rack on a DRI?

Fighter a/c usually had flare holders fastened to the outside of the cockpit. This was a guard against being accidentally hit by an enemy tracer / incendiary round. The Albatros fighters had flare guns attached internally through a mounted tube that was angled away from the wings and tail.
