After I finished the Tempest I needed to start a new project in 1:72. The choice fell on Academys Fw109D-9. Between building one Spit in 1:144 and with another underway, the 1:72 cockpit was positively enormous, so I decided to try a method for making a seat-harness from scratch. In particular the method outlined here.

I used standard no-brand masking tape of the elastic type, and made the buckles from thin copper wire from an old electric motor. And it worked pretty well I think!
