Now we all know that time when it comes to add the nose weight to our beloved builds and we try a little bit first then add some more and a little for luck. We then cross our fingers and hope we have enough.

Now this is what happens in the real world when you don't have enough



And look at what happens when you use to much!

In comparison, it doesn't seem so bad when I screw up the needed added weight. Clear sprue is always a quick fix, but for those real life issues, it's a lot more work, and a lot more costly. ;-)

funny you should mention this,
i was at hendon the other evening and was talking to some people who work there, the vampire has a weight in the cockpit all the time because when you take it out you can put your hand on the tail and push it down !
from what i could gather, if you take the weight out.... put a pilot in its place
