Hello!

This is my finished model of my favorite FW 190D-9 (1/48 Eduard), from 5./JG 301 Bad Langensalza, Germany May 1945. For the camo I've used Lifecolor and Gunze paints, aluminium variants on the underside are Alclad. The only addition are the Quickboost exhausts, RB Model MG 131/13mm,scratch MG 151/20mm and Pitot tube. Weathered with AK Interactive fluids.

Hope you will like it

Cheers!

Venelin,
A very impressive build. I would have questioned the lagging radio wire, but Jessica brought up that very topic yesterday, and that's exactly how it should be for open canopies. Well done. Your painting, decaling, and weathering are simply superb.

Your exhaust weathering is excellent. Did you air brush it, or is it pastel caulks?

Thanks Joel!

Exhaust stains are made with my Infinity CR Plus at low pressure and several passes, with Gunze flat black paint with a touch of Tamiya Red brown for a bit brownish shade.

Cheers!

Venelin,
Thanks. I've airbrushed them myself, but they just never look that good. Thought that pastels would be a good alternative.

Hi Venelin

Very nice indeed! Yep - the slack aerial wire is spot-on for the bulged canopy. I really like the mix of painted and n/m finishes on the undersides.

All the best

Thanks!

Yes, that type of canopies didn't have tension mechanism for the aerial.
And this particular camo scheme is very attractive indeed

Hi Venelin,
Very nicely done, the antenna wire looks good, and accurate, as does the camo and markings
