Hi all,

Saw this and have spoken to the owner.
Currently he is looking at producing these in 1/72 and 1/48, plastic injection molded.

This is a repeat in the jets thread but I think it fits in both places. Excuse the duplication if you would.

Website yet to be completely finished but is here:

http://www.cromaticalab.com/models/

The Facebook site is far better:

https://www.facebook.com/cromaticamodels

This is one of the proposals, a tangential move completely sideways during WW2:

Go see and enjoy.

Cheers

Luft 46 I can handle. But Alt-history just bugs me.

That's a fair comment.
I find it very interesting and it's interesting to view things from alternate perspectives.
It's kind of a crossbreed between Luft 46 and SciFi which I am not sure has been done before.

It may appeal to a good many people. Never know unless you look into it.

All the best.

Honestly, it's not exactly my cup of tea. I try to model historically accurate aircraft to the best of my limited skills.

Joel,
What I am trying to say is that a choice is subjective. Just because you like something or not, doesn't mean it doesn't appeal to someone else.
Cheers.

Martin,
You posted information about sci-fi models. I posted that it's not within my areas of interest, and why. I did go to both sites and see what was being offered. Where did I day that because I'm not interested in sc-fi modeling that there is no appeal to others?

If you only wanted positive posts, then ask a mod or admin to have my posts removed. Otherwise, I stand behind what I said.

And no, I don't like chocolate biscuits, or whatever you're referring to.

Hi Joel,

The biscuit thing is to make a point. It's completely subjective whether you do or don't. It's also a rhetorical question.

Thanks for posting but I don't think you have grasped what I am saying, if you have you've missed the point. There is also no need to be aggressive.

I am not bothered whether you like it or not, I am simply bringing a new company to the attention of those who might be interested.

As to the fact that you don't like this type of modelling, it was a pointless post you made, similarly, whether you liked the models it is immaterial as the post was to inform and to be informative rather than a post asking for opinions.

I have no grudge. Just a differing point of view and I am sorry if you felt aggrieved. There really is no need to.

Very imaginative indeed. Next to "Comic strips", we now have "comic modelling".

I hope that these people succeed and bring something new to , possibly, a new modelling community.

However, I don't think that I will be part of that community, I am to hung up on "real history" to consider building an alternative one.

I think that this company will find more furtile ground in the sci-fi part of kitmaker.

But just in case that these creative minds have invented this sci-fi approach while searching for a new niche market, I just want to remind that there are heaps of subjects barely considered by the classic model manufacturers like Anti Aircraft Artillery, radar, airfield installations, airfield fire brigade, Surface to air missiles, complete jet or turboprop engines, maintenance scaffolding and equipment, trucks, ...

All in 1/48 scale, of course

Hi guys

What an interesting idea. I hope the kit lives up to the promise of art. For those of us interested in models from all sorts of genre's this could be an interesting addition. Bring it on!

All the best
