Well, I finally completed a kit.
it's not perfect (far from it, in fact), but it turned out better than I thought it would. Bear in mind that I'm using this as a way of rehabilitation after a mild stroke a few years ago, and that it is brush-painted, not airbrushed, and is the first completed kit in more years than I care to remember.

Olaf,
Despite the circumstances that's a fine and accurate 109 you've got there.
Keep up that rehab and surely results will just keep getting better and better.
All the best

Olaf,
Nicely done. Looks like a clean build, but with the color shift in your pictures, it's very hard to actually see your painting & decaling efforts.

Thank you, all.
Hmmmm- I'm still working on photography! That said, I think that this kit won't stand that close an inspection ;-) as it IS the first in ages. Hopefully by the next one I'll be better at photography too.

Looks great. Did you paint the spiral on the spinner or is it a decal? Either way it looks terrific.

Well Olaf, it certainly looks like a Bf109 and, from what can be seen not bad, especially for the first in ages; the trick is to make each one better, which I'm sure that you will
If you go into the edit screen and remove the "thumbnail/" from the image code (remove the "/" as well), your images will be the full size in your post. The thumbnails are OK as they act as a live link to the gallery, but removing the thumbnail part of the code saves viewers having to use that step. I mention this just for information
