Iīve recently bought a pair of resin M-134 miniguns in 1/72 scale of Armory. I have the idea of improve the miniguns that the Esci kit have.
But I guess that they are oversized, compare the resin piece in gray with the Esci kit. Of course maybe the Esciīs minigun itīs undersized but I have suspicious.
What do you think guys?
Thanks for your help.

Going from what I've photo's I've seen of Huey's carrying them, I'd say that Esci got the size spot on. They do look a little simple though.
That resin one looks more like 1/48 to me. You could have a set that were put into the wrong packet. If you can email Armory and ask them for advice.
Hope that helps.

Well Iīve received an answer from Armory via my dealer and they say that "in two years there will be no questions for the scale precision"
And that "there were mikroguns and miniguns.
Mikroguns was smaller"
The mikrogun denomination is M-214 5.56mm and not M-134 minigun, this last is the name of the product selling by Armory, and by the way I canīt find any M-134 minigun in 1/48 in Armoryīs catalog.
In my humble opinion this resin piece is oversized, the original M-134 have a lenght of 800mm, 1,10cm in 1/72; and this resin part have a lenght of almost 2cm.
I canīt find other M-134 in 1/72 in the web, so I guess that my next step itīs scratchbuilding, that the force be with me.

It sounds like Armory is selling you a load of crap. There is no way that gun is correct for 1/72 scale. That gun looks more like a 20mm Vulcan cannon.
Cobra Company has a 1/72 UH-1 Weapons Set that includes M134 miniguns, M157 rocket pods, ammo can, and their mounts. Their products are great. I highly recommend them.

Do they do anything in 1:32?
Not sure who you meant by "they", but Cobra Company has a whole line of weapons and accessories in both 1/32 and 1/35.

Armory of course. The people who made that huge piece of heavy artillery. I'm still thinking they may have put the wrong scale gun in the box. Of course thats if they make anything bigger than 1/72.

Well, at last Iīve received an answer from Armory and by the way, I am satisfied with this.
They tell me that they will examine the set with the information that I send them to corroborate the accuracy or inaccuracy of the minigun set. And they show me their will to refund my expenses.

Glad to hear you've got a positive response from them Edgardo. Nice to hear of a manufacturer listening to an issue and making an attempt to solve it. Hope it works out well.
