26 October 2015 will be the 75th anniversary of the first flight of the P-51 Mustang.
I know this is a ways off but I think it would be a great opportunity for a Campaign mid to late 2015 to mark this iconic aircraft.

Better hurry, they're booking campaigns for mid 2015 already. I have a couple of gems that might be worthwhile for this; an Academy C model for the Red Tails, a Model News NA-73, a Frog P-51A, and even a Condor A-36.

Any variant of Mustang acceptable? I have something unusual in mind.

Hi Jessie
I was thinking any variant of the P-51 from the prototype NA-73X onward even happy for the F-82 Twin Mustang to be included.
Cheers
Stephen

I only have eight unbuilt Mustangs in the corral, but, I should be able to spare one for a good cause. You just can't have enough Mustangs!

That looks like 10 Stephen! Write up a proposal and some rules and we'll see if we can get that lazy ass Campaign Admin. to set us up!

This campaign has been APPROVED!
You can enlist here.
Sorry it's out so far, but given the title of the campaign, I think the time frame is right on.
Looking forward to it! Now, what to build...?

Will have to do an Aussie bird in recognition of it being your idea, PH.

I'm in, that makes 7. Well, I'm really aiming towards the Model News NA-73 or the Condor A-36A. But time will tell.

Just a reminder here, but there's still no ribbon loaded for this campaign. Always a good idea to have a flashy ribbon, it can drive enlistment!
